Slitting, Perfing, and Scoring

There are countless ways your Baumfolder 714 system can be set up to slit, perf, or score. This option is just another example of how versatile your Baum system can be.

• Scoring- You can score and fold inline, in one pass. By adding a scoring kit assembly you can turn your folder into a creaser, saving you from buying a stand along creaser and saving much needed shop floor space.  Helping make your invest go farther.
• Perforating- Whether your micro perforating or regular perforating Baum-folders can be set up to handle both. In fact you can Score, slit, perf, and fold all in one pass! There are many different blades and tooth configurations, each provide a special finishing result that can widen your production and product range.
• Slitting- Need to trim extra material from your stock? Slitting can provide you the finished product you need. If you need to fold and trim edges from your digital printed material adding a slitting accessory to your folder is the way to do it!

Maybe the best Accessory!

The 714 folders come with two fold plates that can provide the best in the most common folds. However having only two fold plates comes with limitations.

The solution to that limitation? The 714 8-Page! When it comes to the 714 accessories the 714 8-page is at the top of the list.

This two plate folder connects to the 714XLT and XA models, both in tandem, and parallel. Most know the parallel configuration as “Right Angle”, each configuration operates the same manner the reason for the two differences is space. Having the option to place the second folding station “714 8-pg” gives you the ability to set the equipment in a layout that fits your floor plan.

Having the second station folder opens up more options to products and folds your standard 714 couldn’t handle alone. Giving you the option to go from a 4 page fold to an 8 page fold.
